New Patients at West Chiropractic and Rehabilitation

Before Your Appointment

Once you’ve scheduled your appointment with West Chiropractic and Rehabilitation, we’ll send you the new patient paperwork so you can complete it online. You can submit it electronically, so there’s no need to print papers and remember to bring them in!

Here’s What You Can Expect

Your First Visit

Plan on about one hour for this visit. When you come in, our friendly, outgoing staff will greet you and get you checked in. Then you’ll meet with Dr. Fine, who will go over your complete health history with you, taking the time to truly listen as you explain what’s been going on with your body. He’ll conduct a thorough physical exam and come up with a working diagnosis. At this visit, you will likely receive some passive therapies. Depending on your situation, you may also receive a chiropractic adjustment at this visit.

Your Second Visit

At this visit, Dr. Fine will discuss your condition and his recommendations for care going forward. Your care will be tailored to your needs and may include rehab and physical therapy modalities, in addition to your chiropractic adjustments. We will re-evaluate you after about twelve sessions to make sure you’re making progress. We expect to see at least 50% improvement within that time, and if we don’t, we’ll talk to you about further diagnostics.

Regular Visits

Depending on your care plan, your follow-up visits usually take between forty-five minutes and an hour and twenty minutes. We’ll monitor your progress and make alterations to your plan as needed. Our goal is to get you well and get you back to doing the things you love to do. If you choose to continue with maintenance care, we’d be happy to create a maintenance plan to keep you functioning, moving and living life to the fullest.
